Welcome to the Italian Program!
We offer all levels of Italian, from 1-4 and AP Italian Language and Culture. Students in levels 3 -4 are eligible to complete the requirements of a CA State Seal of Biliteracy in Italian at graduation, an honor which will go on their transcript, college application and resume. (see page on the Seal for more information)
I am enjoying my 6th year at DV and am looking forward to a record number of graduates acheiving the CA State Seal of Biliteracy in Italian! I have a BA in Italian Studies from Gonzaga University and an MA in Italian from SF State. I have taught Italian at the middle school, high school, and junior college level, as well as at language schools in San Francisco. I am happy to be bringing Italian culture, language, and FOOD to our Wolverines!
