  • African American Male Prep Academy

    The African American Male Preparatory Academy is a free two-week summer program that provides a rich and dynamic program addressing the specific needs of African American youth transitioning to high school.

  • AUSD Summer Algebra Camp

    Summer Algebra Camp will support AUSD 8th graders transitioning into 9th grade through using algebra priority standards and preparing students for 9th grade Algebra. Activities are rigorous and hands on, college career focused, and will increase student success and confidence in 9th grade Algebra.

  • EL Summer Academy

    The ELD Summer Academy is a free two-week program designed for incoming 6th-11th grade English Learners who have remained at the same ELPAC level for two or more years, but is open to all English Learner students who will enter 6th-11th grade in the 2021-2022 school year. The program will provide English langauge development support in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This program will help guide students to advanced proficiency in langauge development by providing instruction in academic langauge, academic conversation, and writing skills through engaging real-world and relevant issues.

Elementary 2021 Summer Programs

  • EL Kindergarten Jump Start

    Kindergarten Jump start is for pre-registered 2021-22 kindergartners with a primary language other than English. The Jump Start Program will provide your child wiht the opportunity to attend school for 10 days prior to the 2021-2022 school year to experience the classroom setting, get a head start on classroom procedures, and prepare for a positive school experience.

  • EL Summer Intervention

    EL Summer Intervention program is intended for pre-registered 2021-22 1st-5th graders with a primary language other than English. The Summer Intervention program will provide your child with the opportunity to attend school 10 days prior to the start of the 2021-2022 school year to reinforce English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Students will be prepared for a positive return to school experience.
