Absences need to be cleared within 72 hours.  Students who are excused more than 10 times in a year will need documentation from a doctor.  If you leave early or come late due to a doctor or dentist appointment, please bring a note from the doctor.  The date and time needs to be marked on the note.  Students who accumulate 3 unexcused absences and or tardies will receive a first truancy letter.  Any additional unexcused tardies or absences can trigger a second letter.  Once a student accumulates 6 unexcused absences or tardies, they will be declared a legal truant and will be referred to the district SARB (School Attendance Review Board).  The attendance number is (925)779-7609.
