California Law & the Antioch Unified School District policies regarding attendance may be found in the AUSD Student/Parent Handbook.

When you know your child will be absent, please call our answering machine Carmen Dragon Absence Line at 925-779-7475 or send a written note when your child returns to school.  It takes 24 hours to clear absences.  The Antioch Unified School District policy requires that a parent must, “Report all absences of their child to the school within twenty-four (24) hours.”
