If a child is going to be absent from school, parents are requested to call the school Attendance Line at 925-779-7470.

Dial 1 for English, Dial 2 for Spanish, Dial 2 to report absence.

All absences must be reported to the school within twenty-four (24) hours. The State of California requires verification of all school absences.

Verified is defined as an allowable absence in attendance during a regular full time school day due to the following reasons: illness, quarantine directed by county or city health officer, having medical, dental, or optometrical services rendered, attending the funeral service of a member of the pupil’s immediate family to the extent of not more than one day if service is conducted in California and not more than three days if the service is conducted outside of California.
