Being in a musical is a high school memory that will last a life time and this experience is open to the entire school, but many people are too afraid to even try.  So to help with this stage fright, the directors are holding an audition workshop on November 13 after school to answer your questions about the musical audition process. Here you can find out what it will take, ask your questions, and even watch some sample auditions. Don’t let fear limit your opportunities. Come check out to the audition workshop on November 13 from 3-4:30.

    DVHS Campus Safety

At the end of the school day, all students are required to exit the campus. Students involved with co or extracurricular activities are to report to their activity’s designated area-this would include all athletics, tutoring, clubs, and night school.
Students not involved in school related activities are to leave the campus when the final bell rings. Unfortunately, this new practice is a result of students play fighting and rough housing on school grounds. We appreciate your cooperation in picking your student up immediately after dismissal and encouraging them to depart campus immediately if they are catching the bus or walking home.

    Boys Baseball

Fall Baseball is in full swing. We are on the field Tues, and Friday, and in the weight room every other day of the week. If you are not playing another sport this season, and plan on playing baseball this year, stop by room 108 and talk to Coach Hannah ASAP.

    Updated Spirit point rules

This year Spirit Points are stepping it up another notch. Students who dress for the theme on non teal and black days will earn double points for their class.  Students who wear teal and black as alternative gear on spirit days must wear a teal and black shirt or a Deer Valley shirt to be counted. Socks, shoes, bandannas, bottoms, or hats cannot be counted alone for spirit points.
