Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Esterow teaches 9-12th grade Moderate/Severe Special Education (English, History, Health). She has her preliminary degree in Adolescent Education for grades 7-12 in English, a Masters of Education in Adolescent Literacy, a Masters of Education in the Inclusive Classroom, and a Masters of Education for Moderate/Severe Special Education.
This website will serve as a platform for your students' classes during our time of distance learning.
A few things you should know:
1. My office hours will be from 10:00 am-11:00 am each weekday.
-To contact me during this time, you (students and parents) may either text or call me at (510)545-9117
-This time should be used to ask any questions you may have about using the materials provided or questions about your individual student(s)
-Texts or calls received on weekdays outside of my office hours will be answered by the following day, by 10:00 am
-Texts or calls received on weekends will be answered by 10:00 am the following Monday
2. Materials that can be used for student learning/review will be included in the "Class Handouts" section
-"Class Handouts" will include pdfs that can be printed out if necessary
3. The "Announcements" section will be used for updates on important information
-Topics such as service providers (ex: speech, ot, vision, a.p.e), class updates, school updates, assignment updates will be included as necessary
