    Incoming 9th Grade Lottery Students

If you are a current 8th grader who will be attending a Deer Valley academy in the Fall and you currently attend a middle school(or Orchard Park) in the Antioch Unified School District, your information will be forwarded to us from your middle school automatically.

If you are an incoming 9th grader from out of the district, you will need to complete an enrollment packet with Deer Valley High School beginning in April of your 8th grade year.  We will make every effort to reach you at the number provided on the lottery application to set up a time for you to come in to complete paperwork and for you to meet with a counselor to discuss your freshman schedule.

Fourth Quarter Progress Reports: May 7, 2020

Second Semester/4th Quarter Report Cards: June 12, 2020

Sports Eligibility and Dance Eligibility are based on quarter grades.  A student must have a 2.0 GPA and no more than 1 F to qualify for both activities.  For dances, students must also not owe fines or fees to the student body office or to the library.  Students must also have served all administrative detentions to be eligible.  Winter Ball takes place in early December.  GPAs from first quarter will be used to determine eligibility.  Grade changes must be done in the three week period following the mailing date for the report card per district policy.  If the grade change is not completed within three weeks, the grade change will have to be authorized by the administrator for the student.  Likewise, junior prom and senior ball GPA eligibility will be based on third quarter grades.  The three week grade change policy will also be in effect for those grades.  Please monitor your child's progress on their report cards and contact your child's teacher if you feel that an error has been made in their grade so it may be rectified immediately.
