Ms. Stevens

Welcome to Blackboard for Skills Support and Language Developement

I was raised in Oakland, CA where I got my undergraduate degree in Political Science at Holy Names University.  My work experience includes 15 years experience as a teacher, 15 years as a Project Manager and owner of a Public Relations firm.  I have worked as a bilingual administrative assistant for at Banco do Brasil in San Francisco, and a bilingual Proforma/Documentation manager at a firm that specialized in the exportation of farming equipment in Mobile, AL.  I earned a teaching credential and masters in Education at Cal State University East Bay in 2004 and an administration preliminary credential in 2009.

I have been teaching at Dozier-Libbey Medical High School since 2011 -- in time for the first graduating class -- some of my happiest working years!

  • Happy COVID-19 Distance Learning!  I hope this notice finds everyone healthy and safe -- and making the best of being sheltered at home and figuring out all the in's and out's of distance learning.

You will be given assignments for a grade in your class with me on Microsoft Teams.  These lessons and assignments are designed to improve and maintain your high school academic skills.  Hopefully, you will find them interesting, as well.  Feel free to email me anytime at lynnstevens@antiochschools.net or use my temporary work phone number (925) 237-1810 on weekdays. Regardless of what learning platform we use -- it will be a good and productive school year.  Please ask questions if you are struggling. We will get through this together!!
