WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE in ROOM 26

Some of you may already know me.  I have been teaching at Orchard Park for the past 6 years as a first AND a fifth grade teacher. What you may not know is that I have previously taught 1st grade, and it truly is my FAVORITE! I love teaching first grade and having the opportunity to work with little kids who can do BIG things!  I have been a part of Antioch Unified School District for over 20 years.  I have previously taught K, 1st, and 5th grades, as well as being a reading intervention site leader. 

Being a teacher, to me, means working collaboratively with families and students to create a classroom community that honors all students' diversity.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of my new families.  Together we can make this an AMAZING year for your first grader!
