Degrees and Certifications:
Dear Room 15 Families,
Here we are....our last day of school. It's not at all what we could have imagined, but it's here. I want to thank all of my Room 15 parents for their patience and willingness to jump in as my co-teachers. You've been so supportive and understanding as we tried to figure out this whole distance learning thing. I could not have done this without you!
As for my students, each one of you brought something very special to our classroom community this year. It would not have been the same without even one of you. You are an incredibly talented and extremely tenacious group of humans. Remember to always be mindful of and compassionate with those you encounter in life. You've got so much to offer...so give the world your best!
Expectations for Distance Learning:
Check in under our Daily Lessons tab Monday through Firday
Assignments will be on the daily lesson board under that tab and worksheets may be listed separately. Just look for the correct date!
Submitting worksheets: I am trying to eliminate the need to submit worksheets as much as possible. Howeve, there will still be one or two each week. The easiest way to submit work is to take a picture and send it to me via Remind or have your child show it to me when they do their FlipGrid check-in each day.
After daily assignments are complete, students will check in on FlipGrid.
The district guideines suggest 3 hours of learning each day for 5th grade students. Keep in mind that the assignments I give should NOT take 3 hours to complete. So be creative with your learning opportunities at home. Learn a new skill, practice your instrument, create something, bake some cookies, or just enjoy some family time.
