Congratulations, eighth graders!
Have a wonderful summer, students!
Take some time to read a book and keep our minds sharp for the new school year! I've got four new releases to recommend below:
I'm leaving this information about Microsoft Teams and your Student AUSD account live over the summer because I intend to continue to use these wonderful resources to enhance our learning in the upcoming school year.
The above video is Principal Wisely's tutorial for setting up your Student AUSD account for the first time. Your Student AUSD account provides you free access to all the Microsoft Office apps, including Word for writing, PowerPoint for making presentations, and Outlook for sending your teachers emails.
Here is our district's resource on setting up your AUSD Student Account:
If you need your temporary password information to set up your student AUSD account, send me an email or join my WebEx office hours.
Your Student AUSD Account gives you access to the whole Microsoft Office suite--including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and more! It's an excellent resource for you to develop computer skills that will help you in school now and in colleges and careers later.
To sign into Microsoft Office products, you will need to use the email address form of your Student AUSD Account: [studentID]@student.antiochschools.net -- This will only work once you follow the directions to set up your Student AUSD Account.
One of the Microsoft Office tools you will have access to is called Microsoft Teams.
In Teams, you'll be able to view your assignments, see your assignment grades and detailed feedback, and access more resources all inside one central app.
The video below shows how to view assignments, submit assignments, and view grades and feedback in Teams:
This is the bottom of the page. Congratulations, you made it!
