Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Sarah Nichols
I am a fourth grade teacher currently, but I have taught first through fifth grades also. My teaching career began in 1996, in Oakland, California, with a first and second grade Sheltered English class. I have taught in California, Washington, and Mexico City.
Because my dad was in the Air Force, and we moved every three years, I have lived in many different states and one other country. Because of my dad's job, I was born in Bangkok, Thailand!
I learned Spanish in high school and college, but moving to Mexico City, when I was 25, helped me learn more. I love to listen to Mexican music!
I live in Antioch, with my husband David and my son Christopher. My husband is an auto mechanic, and my son is a sophomore at Antioch High School. My stepdaughter's name is Brittney. She is married and lives in Antioch also. My daughter Elizabeth lives in Antioch, is a senior at CSUEB full time, and works full time as a Certificated Nursing Assistant. I also have a puppy named Lily.
