Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Sarah Nichols
I am a fourth grade teacher currently, but I have taught first through fifth grades also. My teaching career began in 1986, in Oakland, California, with a first and second grade Sheltered English class. I have taught in California, Washington, and Mexico City.
Because my dad was in the Air Force, and we moved every three years, I have lived in many different states and one other country. Because of my dad's job, I was born in Bangkok, Thailand!
I learned Spanish in high school and college, but moving to Mexico City, when I was 25, helped me learn more. I love to listen to Mexican music!
I live in Antioch, with my husband David and my son Christopher. My husband is an auto mechanic, and my son is a freshman at Antioch High School. My stepdaughter's name is Brittney. She is married and lives in Antioch also. My daughter Elizabeth lives in Antioch, goes to CSUEB full time and works full time as a Certificated Nursing Assistant. I have a puppy named Lily.
