 Welcome to Diablo Vista's website.  During our distant learning experence I will be using the website for student's learning.  I will be using the district's Blackboard to communicate with you. 

 All students in my class will be receiving by mail their packet of work for 2 weeks.  I will be calling students to see how they are progressing with the work and giving help when needed.  Please contact me with any concerns or problems. In the packet is a list of fun and free educational websites such as Scholastic, PBS Kids.org, CoolMath.com, Kids.NationalGeographic.com, TheKidzPage.com. and several others.

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.  I am mailing out a packet of work on Monday.  Feel free to call or email if your student is having any difficulties with the work. Hi!  Hope everyone is doing well!  New work packet will be mailed the middle of next week. Last packet took several days to arrive.  Mail is very slow right now. On May 7,2020 there will be a pickup day for students personasl belongings such as desk items and finished work.  The time is 10-noon.  Just pull up near Room 1.  We will be there to distribute belongings.

Hi!  I hope this finds everyone doing well. I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful sunshine.

I mailed another packet on May 7. If you were unable to come by on the 7th there will be another date in the near future.  I will keep you poisted. I would like to see 100% using I ready. If only for a few minutes daily it will help improve skills in reading and math.

Hi! I hope everyone is doing great. The weather is perfect and it sure feels like summer. The school year is coming to a close.  It actually comes to a close on June 4th.  This is in accordance with our regular district calendar.  If your student is participating in extended school year they are to keep their loaned devices for activities.  If they are not attending extended school year devices are to be turned in.

Antioch Middle School Wednesday June 10th 9a.m.-3p.m. for 5th graders

Antioch Middle School Tuesday June 11th 9a.m.-3p.m.  for 3rd and 4th graders. Make up day is June 15th for all grades 9a.m.-3p.m.

I will be in the classroom on June 1st 12-4p.m.and perhaps Wednesday and Thursday.  You can drop off work packets during that time at the room. New packets were mailed out yesterday.  Thank you for all the work you have been doing with your student. It will certainly pay off. I will be in touch soon.
