We will answer when we can during the summer break.
I hope everyone is having a safe summer with some fun added into the mix!
It is the end of July and I am working to improve our distance learning experience as well as getting PPEs set up for whenever we can start returning to our resource room. Whatever our start looks like, I will have had lots of time to learn how to best provide services. I am looking forward to seeing everyone either on a screen, from your car as you drive by, or actually face to face--with my masks sewn by my dear niece.
Thank you for all the support you provide your child--especially in these trying times of the COVID 19 pandemic. As your child's resource teacher, I will continue to case manage IEPs and to provide Specialized Academic Instruction in the best way possible while we are distance learning.
I will collaborate with your child's teacher to support your child with the work they assign. If your child has difficulty with any of the assignments the teachers provide, don't hesitate to contact me to either help them or assign an alternative assignment.
Be kind to yourselves-you are taking care of your families and dealing with a situation of historic proportions. I humbly ask you to be kind to me--I have never used so many different technology platforms! I'm learning too!!
Again, thank you for all you do. We will get through this together!!
Take care of you-take care of your families-stay safe!!!
