• Mission Statement: The spirit of Antioch High School is embodied in its mission statement: The mission of the Antioch High School community is to prepare students to participate actively in a changing global society.  We hold and communicate high standards of academic and social behavior for an evolving and diverse school community.  We believe all students have the capacity to do well and that we have the responsibility to influence and motivate student achievement.  Our school has an encouraging, healthy, purposeful atmosphere in which members feel safe and respected.  Our goals promote student excellence through self-esteem, self-discipline and academic achievement.

Vision Statement: Within the context of high school reform from one large comprehensive high school to four Small Learning Communities to develop meaningful relationships with students and provide a personalized education.  Antioch High School has created four "wall to wall" career pathway academies for all students.  The four career pathway academies are EDGE Academy (Engineering Design for a Green Environment), Environmental Studies Academy, Media Technology Academy, and LEAD Academy (Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development).  Each academy has a team of teachers (English, Math, Science, Social Science, and Curriculum Technical Education) at each grade level who integrate their learning activities with a focus on the individual career pathway.  The goal of the linked learning academies is to provide students with the 3 R's of Rigor, Relevance and Relationships.
