Welcome to our 2020-2021 School year!

This year we will be starting the year using distance learning.  Your student will need to be a registered student and you can do this by registering on the Parent Aeries portal.

You can get your child's school e-mail address by going onto this website. Before September 3rd, student MUST have an active email account, to access online lessons.  Directions for setting up a student account, which leads students to Class Link/My Locker apps, are found at this link Set Up Student Account for Class Link/My Locker

We will have our first official class meeting on line on Thursday Sept. 3rd.  we will have our meeting on Teams and your students Mybackpack will have a link for you to click to get connected to that platform.

Our meetings will start at 8:15 and each child will have a schedule showing what they will be doing on which day with which teacher.  Students will also have scheduled Speech, OT and APE therapies as determined by they IEP.  We will have Music with Mrs. Tuning, PE with our new PE teacher Mr. Shaver, and we will Prep classes with Mrs. Hatfield.

In our first few weeks we will be doing reviews of what we went over last year and then will begin to move forward.

Our practice resources will be RAZ kids for reading, and Reflex Math for math work.  We will be using the district approved McGraw-Hill cirruculum for Language Arts, and McGraw-Hill Math workbooks, we will use Mystery Science and will try and bring in plenty of visual videos, etc to try to meet each students best learning style.

We are looking forward to getting to spend time with your students, and I will be contacting you to try and set up a best time to work with your students one on one.  This won's probaby happen the first week, but it will be a priority.

Be sure to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
