Bidwell High School is one of two continuation high schools in the Antioch Unified School District (AUSD). Bidwell serves students in grades 10 through 12, ages 16-18 years old. The purpose of Bidwell is to provide students who are deficient in credits with an alternative opportunity to improve their academic skills as they work toward graduating with their class. Students have a four period day; grade and credits are issued on a quarterly basis. Almost all school work is completed in small classes under the direction of the instructor. A high school diploma may be earned by meeting the Antioch Unified School District's 220 credit requirement.
Bidwell High School strives to provide a safe, supportive educational environment where all students are given an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and develop those academic and interpersonal skills necessary for responsible citizenship. The Bidwell school community encourages students to increase their academic competency while experiencing personal growth that fosters positive life-skills and life-long learning.
Our vision is to empower students to achieve their educational, vocational, and personal goals by providing a community where learners grow in knowledge, confidence, and independence.
"Devour the Perception"
