• Good Morning Families!
We are working on Unit 10 Week 2 in Language Arts this week. The theme is: Sort it out (which also happens to be the same in Math). The essential question for this week is : In what ways are things alike? and how are they different?
In Math we are moving to Chapter 9: Classify objects.
How are objects alike? and different? Example: shapes (circles, squares, triangles, diamonds, rectangle). Have students sort objects in the house. Items you eat, items you don't eat. Round objects, square objects, etc. Sort by color, number of items, and more.
The pantry is a great place for finding items to sort. Also, if students have legos, or blocks - those are great for sorting as well!
If you need more material, please let me know!

This week we recognize the following students for their hard work in I-Ready (keep up the good work):
