The School Site Council is composed of school staff, parents, and students.  It is a vehicle by which the school community comes together to chart the school’s path to improvement.  The primary task of this council is to ensure that the school is continually engaged in identifying and implementing curriculum and instructional practices that result in strengthening the core academic program and ensuring that students have access to and success in that program.  The council assists in identifying common goals and establishing a plan to achieve these goals.

The success of the SSC is dependent upon the ability and willingness of all those involved in the process to work together in a cooperative manner to develop an effective curricular and instructional program so that all students may attain higher levels of academic competence.

Come join us to discuss how we utilize our school resources to support students academically, socially, and emotionally.  Our meetings are open to the school community and public.  During our meetings we discuss school interventions, the school’s funding allocations, assess our school’s needs, and allocate resources as we prepare the Site Plan for School Success.
