Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Sam Marquardt
Hello and Welcome to Room 12!
My name is Ms. Sam. I was born and raised right here in Antioch. I lived in Lake Tahoe while I attended college then moved to Japan! While I was in college I taught skiing and snowboarding and in Japan I taught English for 2 and half years. This is my second year at Marsh Elementary and I excited to help grow the Marsh Tiger community.
This is sure to be an interesting year as we start in full distance. We will be working together to navigate the technology and adapting as best we can. Please reach out to me if you have any concerns or questions. Together we will get through this and hopefully return to the classroom soon!

During live instruction all students should keep their mics muted so there isn't any additional background noise. Students may use the bathroom at anytime without having to unmute. Parents, please make sure that students are in a quiet place with few distractions. Remember that when unmuted everyone can hear everything going on. Also, students should be working as independently as possible on all activities. Please encourage your student to do their best, only help after they have tried independently first.
