Hello Mission Families!  It is nice to meet you.  My name is Mrs. Keithley.  I am the Reading Intervention Prep Teacher.  I will be working with your student on i-Ready each week.  i-Ready is an online computer program for reading and math.  Your student will start by taking a diagnostic test.  This test will determine your student's  needs and personalize their learning.  This means the program will assign lessons that are just right for your student to start learning.  The i-Ready program will also monitor your student's progress throughout the school year.  I will add in extra support where your child needs it the most.

Things to remember with i-Ready:

-Your student needs to sign on to i-Ready through MyLocker and click on the i-Ready icon to start.

-Do not help your student on the diagnostic test.  I know it is tempting to lend a hand, but the lessons will not match their learning needs if you do.  

-Be sure to get your i-Ready time in each week. i-ready is a great learning tool to progress your student's learning.  Pay attention to assigned times and get those minutes in.
