Ms. Monte Gregg

I was born in Odessa, Texas but moved to Washington State by the time I was 2.  I lived there until I was 9 years old and then the family moved to California, where I lived and graduated from Oroville High School, home of the Tigers!

We then moved to Washington State again in 1980 and stayed until 1998.  While there, I received my AA, BA and Masters Degree in Education.  I taught 8 years in Pasco Unified School District.  Then I moved to California in 1998 and have lived here ever since.  I taught 6  years and was the Director for Curriculum and Instruction for 4 years for Konocti Unified School District.  I became a Principal in 2008 and worked in Woodland Unified for 2 years before coming to Antioch Unified School District, where I proudly serve to the present date as Principal of Mission Elementary School.  I live in Antioch and I'm very active in the community.  At Mission, I have been instrumental in the bringing down in the number of suspensions at our school.  My goal is to have a safe environment for students to be successful in. I have been in education for 30 years and will begin my 10th year at MissionElementary during the 2019-20 school year.
