    California Law and the Antioch Unified School District (AUSD) policies regarding attendance may be found in the 2021-2022 AUSD Parent/Guardian, Student Handbook.  

    When you know your child will be absent, please call our answering maching Absence Line at 925-779-7435 or send a written note when your child returns to school.  It takes 24 hours to clear absences.  The AUSD policy requires that a parent must, "Report all absences of their child to the school within 24 hours.
