Preparing My Student for Distance Learning

Please view the following links to get your student ready for distance learning.

myLocker/Classlink (All Jack London Students)

myLocker

Each student will need to access their myLocker account to get into all of their classroom programs. The AUSD myLocker is your student’s personalized cloud desktop, giving them access to school from anywhere, accessible from any device.

Microsoft Teams (All Jack London Students)

 MS Teams

AUSD students in grades TK-12 will use Teams as their virtual classroom meeting platform, so it is very important that you help your student familiarize themselves with how to get to the Teams app in myLocker.

Microsoft Teams will also be the digital learning platform for grades 4-12th grade students.  Microsoft Teams brings conversations, content, assignments, and apps together into one place allowing teachers to create a vibrant learning environment. Teams allows teachers to build collaborative and engaging learning opportunities from a distance.

Please click HERE to get directions on how to access Teams.

Seesaw (Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grades & Special Day Class Students)

Seesaw

Seesaw will be the digital learning platform utilized by our kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade, and special day class students. In Seesaw, students will use built in tools to engage in learning and demonstrate their skills in a digital portfolio (journal). Teachers are able to provide specific and authentic feedback to improve student learning and engage families throughout the process. This is a powerful learning platform for students, teachers, and families.

Please click HERE to get directions on how to access Seesaw through your student’s myLocker account.
