JOHN MUIR SCHOOL HAS A MANDATORY UNIFORM DRESS CODE POLICY. STUDENTS ATTENDING SHALL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR OFFICIAL SCHOOL UNIFORMS. UNIFORMS SHALL BE THE SAME FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS. STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO CHANGE INTO A LOANER UNIFORM IF THEY ARE NOT DRESSED APPROPRIATELY.
Uniform shirts for young men and women will consist of the following options:
John Muir spirit wear is acceptable and encouraged any day of the week.
Long or short-sleeve collared polo/dress shirt in white, khaki beige, or navy blue.
White or navy blue turtleneck, mock turtleneck or T-shirts (short or long sleeve) can be worn under dress and polo shirts.
Uniform pants/shorts for young men and women will consist of:
Solidkhaki beige, navy blue, or white dress or Dockers style pants (no denim).
Pants/shorts must be without holes, ragged hems, or distressed.
Shorts must be mid-thigh or longer.
Uniform skirts, dresses/jumpers and skorts for young women will consist of:
Skirts, dresses or skorts in solid khaki beige, navy blue or white (no denim).
Skirts, dresses, and skorts must be mid-thigh or longer.
No tights, spandex or leggings will be allowed unless worn under the skirt or dress.
LASTLY, APPROPRIATE SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES
