Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Debit Card

Please note: The following information is provided as a convenience for our families, but this is not an AUSD program. For questions or concerns, please use the contact information below.

Each Free/Reduced-Price Meal (FRPM) eligible enrolled AUSD student will receive a Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) debit card of up to $365 to spend on groceries. These will be arriving in the mail between 5/12/2020-5/22/2020. Most students will get the full $365, others may get a smaller amount if they recently became free/reduced eligible following the school closures.

Students attending one of the Community Eligible Provision (CEP) sites or who are directly certified for FRPM based on CalFresh/Medi-Cal/Foster Care status will receive the card automatically.

Students that qualify for free reduced priced meals (FRPM) based on a paper/online application, do not attend a CEP site, and do not receive Cal-Fresh, Medi-Cal or Foster Care Benefits, must apply online between 5/22/2020 and 6/30/2020. When in doubt, families should apply or contact customer service at (877) 328-9677, 24 hours per day /7 days per week. Parents do not have to provide proof of eligibility or income. The online tool is meant as an eligibility verification tool and address confirmation tool.

Here are the links to the website to apply beginning 5/22/2020 as well as a link that offers further information.
