First day Information

Dear DLMHS Families-
Welcome and Welcome Back!  We are very excited about the new school year.  Our amazing and hardworking staff is busy preparing for the first day of school on Tuesday, September 1st.  Although we will be in full distance learning we have missed you and can’t wait to see you each of you virtually.

There is a lot of information to share to prepare you and your student for Tuesday, so take your time and read through the checklist below:
+Parents/Guardians and students have set up their own Aeries accounts

+Parents/Guardians have registered their student (s)

+Students have checked out their textbooks- please email Ms. Vasquez our Librarian to set up an appointment amyvasquez@antiochschools.net

+Students have set up their district accounts through Mylocker.
    If you set up your account last spring, then you do not need to do it again, but you need to make sure that you can login.

+Students have a laptop or desktop available to attend class meeting and complete homework Laptop distribution

+Students have access to the internet Internet Access

+Students have access to Microsoft Teams through Mylocker.  Please make sure the purple Teams icon is on your Mylocker dashboard.

+Parents/Guardians and students have access to student class schedules in Aeries.  Please review them and make sure that students have books for their classes.            Contact Ms. Vasquez if you are missing or need to exchange.  If you are missing a class or completed summer school and need to change a class, please email Ms. Mahan or counselor karenmahan@antiochschools.net

+Classes begin Tuesday- 0 period begins at 7:45 am and 1 period begins at 8:40 am.  Distance Learning Bell Schedule

+Teachers will contact students and invite them to their class period/meetings.

On the DLMHS website  there are videos and handouts for setting up accounts (resetting passwords), school information, and resources for families during COVID-19.  Please take a moment to review the information posted in the DLMHS News (below the calendar) and the Distance Learning Tab.  If you have additional questions we are here to help.  If you do not reach any one by phone or email, we are helping others and will get back to you as soon as we can.  Our school office hours are: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. 

As we get more information and updates, we will send out emails through our school messaging system and posting them on the school website in the Distance Learning tab and/or DLMHS News feed.  We look forward to working with all of you during this school year.
