We are so excited to see you all tomorrow on the first day of school. We will be handing out new schedules beginning at 8:00. The first bell for school rings at 8:20 and the bell to start class rings at 8:25. Please remember to schedule pick up for 1:05 for the remainder of the week.
If you have not registered your student yet, please plan to accompany them to school to complete the process. This is mandatory.
Open gym is scheduled for 1:15 - 3:15 on Thursday and Friday, 8/7 and 8/8. This is open to all.

I hope you had a relaxing summer break! The 2025-2026 school year is upon us, and I am so excited! It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at Dallas Ranch Middle School. Our mission continues to be to engage and empower every child, and to have them feel a part of the DRMS Aviator family. Additionally, every year, we strive to challenge each student to grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Each new school year allows us to work hand in hand with all parents and families to ensure the very best for all children.
If you have not attended Walk- Thru Registration, please plan to come with your student on the first day of school to register them. This event is mandatory for all students and one parent or guardian.
The first day of school for all students is on Wednesday, August 6th. During the first day of school, we will conduct orientations during classes with all students to help them adjust to Dallas Ranch Middle School. Dallas Ranch will welcome all students and make sure they get to their classes and have the full school experience. At this time, we will also review school-wide expectations and daily procedures. Please be reminded that our school hours are 8:25-2:40 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesdays are short days, and the hours are 8:25-1:05.
* This year, our first 3 days of school will be short days with a release time of 1:05. Please prepare accordingly for pick up time on August 6th, 7th, and 8th.
Finally, "All students interested in playing basketball, there will be a boys and girls open gym on Thursday (8/7) and Friday (8/8) from 3:00-5:00pm. There will be a brief 7-minute informational at the beginning of both days.
If your student is interested in trying out for the DRMS basketball team, please pick up a sports packet from the office or a PE teacher and turn it in to a PE teacher ONLY. DO NOT TURN IT IN TO THE OFFICE or to any other teacher. You must turn the packet in by the first day of tryouts. Any additional athletic questions or concerns please contact Ms. Sanders @kriseysanders@antiochschools.net
