Good Afternoon Families,
Today, at 12:30 pm, the site administration noticed a house fire on 12th and F Street. They immediately notified APD and the fire department. Emergency units are on scene addressing the fire. Some smoke from the fire has blown in the direction of the school, so students have access to indoor spaces during lunch time while the fire department addresses the issue. The students are safe, and we are grateful for the fast action of our site administration. Our hearts go out to the family affected by the fire. Our Middle Schoolers had quite a treat this morning! Mrs. Emery brought the Antioch High School Band to play at AMS this morning! What a great way to start the week!

The AMS 8th Grade Dance will be on May 23rd from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Tickets are free! Dress Code : Black Tie Formal. Students must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and no suspensions to attend.

Hello AMS Families! All students will begin testing in CAASPP Math the week of 4/15, and CAASPP ELA the week of 4/29.
8th graders will take their CAST Science tests the week of May 6th.
Students will be on block schedules M, T, Th, and F, and will have the same release times as normal.

The AUSD will hold a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Meeting on Tuesday, 4/16/2024 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Please join us in person at Antioch Middle School Library. Child Care and Refreshments will be available. Join us as we analyze goals and actions, and make recommendations for the 2024-2027 LCAP.
