We have seen a surge in the "Paqui One Chip Challenge" which is a brand challenging youth to consume extremely hot chips as part of a social media "challenge". Effective immediately, the “Hot Brand Challenge” chips & gummies are banned from all AUSD schools. Students across the U.S. have been hospitalized by this.

We encourage our parents and guardians to speak with their children about the dangers of participating in this & other potentially harmful internet challenges. Notice: Students will be suspended for bringing these to school let alone trying to encourage others to take the challenge.

Students have all been told multiple times, that they must have a parking permit to park a car at Dozier Libbey. They are at risk of being towed if they do not get a parking permit. Please have your student scan the QR code and fill out the necessary information if they drive to school and park in our parking lot.

Our event starts at 6pm with a movie "Spider Man: Across the Spider Verse" followed by 2 hours of dancing with a DJ. The dance will end at 9:30 pm. Please arrive PROMPTLY to pick up your students. **If you purchased the class package, the students were told to pick up the ticket for the event, today at lunch.

Please join us for Back to School Night at Dozier Libbey Medical High School. We will start with Zero period at 5:30 p.m. and the evening will end at 7:20 p.m. We will have a taco truck available near the gym. REMINDER: Parking is limited. ALSO, Friday is a minimum day. All students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm

Please have your student check their schedule as additional adjustments needed to be made to advisory classes. If your student receives special education support, their schedules may have been adjusted per requested/required support. We thank you for your patience. Students should download the Microsoft Teams APP!

Due to declining enrollment, we were required to close classes with lower numbers, which caused schedules to change. CHECK AERIES on Monday morning for the latest updated schedules. Students should download the Microsoft Teams APP to get messages from teachers and administrators. Have a nice weekend!

We need more Frosh & JV numbers for Football
Girls Flag Football is a new sport
Girls VB could use a few more JV kids.
Cross Country has unlimited roster space
Girls tennis & Boys/Girls Water Polo REALLY need players. If you can swim, you more than likely will be a starter
Message Mr. McKeen on Teams for more info!

We have received over 250 requests for changes. Those that were able to be changed have been completed. Check Aeries & Microsoft Teams as well.

Good morning, Please check your schedule on Aeries before arriving to school. If you used our QR code/form to request schedule changes prior to 4:30pm, they were completed yesterday (if the change was possible) & may have moved other classes. Keep in mind that some requests were not possible due to classes being full.

Good evening,
We are excited to welcome our Diamondbacks tomorrow! We know there may be scheduling issues and would like you/your student to fill out this schedule change request form if changes are needed. Schedules can be accessed through Aeries.

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
The Kaiser access road has been closed permanently. Dozier Libbey-Medical High School will only be accessible via Sand Creek Road. Parents will need to use Hillcrest Road to access Sand Creek Road. Please be cautious when making the right-hand turn into the campus lot. We will have signage and additional supervision to assist with this transition. The right lane closest to the curb will be used for student drop-off and pick-up. The left lane will be used to access the student lot. Staff parking will continue to be in the front of the school. Below is a map indicating the traffic flow for drop off and pick up.
We want to thank you in advance for your patience as we all navigate the new drop-off and pick-up routine for students. Please allow extra time in the mornings to ensure that your student arrives to school on time.
Attached is a traffic flow map.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Karen Clark
