Dear Families,

We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Antioch Unified School District called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with [school or district name]. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

  • Send and receive school and class information

  • Share pictures and files

  • See calendar items

  • Sign up to volunteer

  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences

  • and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

Parents—Getting Started Video 

All district and school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices). 

Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the desktop version or the Help tab on the app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions.

Antioch Unified School District uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification 

  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm 

  • Communicate in your preferred language

  • Comment on school postings to engage with your school community

  • Direct message teachers, staff and other parents

  • Participate in group messages

  • Sign up for parent-teacher conferences

  • Send payments, sign forms & permission slips, receive report cards, sign up to volunteer and more all from your desktop or mobile device

Appreciate Posts

Click ‘Appreciate’ in your email/app or website to thank a teacher or staff member for a post.

Comment or Reply

Click ‘Comment’ in app or website to privately ask a question about the post that your teacher or school sent.

Get in Touch

Click ‘Messages’ in the sidebar to privately get in touch with staff.

Participate

Click ‘Sign Ups & RSVPs’ in the sidebar to see available opportunities. Click bell on top to check your commitments.

Find People

Click ‘Directory’ in the sidebar to find contact information for school staff.
