We are proud to serve the East Contra Costa community by offering accessible, high-quality educational opportunities that empower adults to achieve their personal, academic, and career goals. Our programs include No Fee English as a Second Language (ESL), No Fee Adult High School Diploma, GED and HiSET preparation, and Fee Based Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways in the high-demand fields of Medical Assisting (including Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG, and Billing and Coding) and Culinary Arts. Whether you're looking to improve your English, complete your education, or train for a new career, Antioch Adult Education is here to support your journey every step of the way.

Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is legislation enacted by Congress in 1974 [20 U.S.C 1232g], designed to protect students from having their records released to persons or institutions without the student’s written consent. FERPA also provides students with the right to review their education records to ensure that no inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate information has been included in their file. If the student discovers that there is inaccurate information in their record, they can challenge the content of such record.

CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Learn to assist physicians in patient care. take vital signs and perform basic lab tests in a hospital or private office. Obtain a national certification with this course.

EKG TECHNICIAN (Online Course)

Learn to operate and monitor electrocardiogram equipment for patients during diagnostic testing and surgical procedures in a hospital or private office. Obtain a national certification with this course.

BILLING & CODING (Online Course)

Learn to review medical records, insurance, and translate diagnosis of patients into medical codes for hospitals. insurance companies or private office. Obtain a national certification with this course.
