Coach Green has arranged for the DVHS Cross Country Team to have REMIND messages sent to parents and students for quick notes and workout updates.  Please text to 81010.  Your message is @dvhsxc for students and @dvxcparent for parents. (You can download instructions with this link)

At our 2019 End-of-the-Year Awards night, six Deer Valley Athletes were recognized for outstanding athletic achievement.

All four DV Cross Country Teams were recognized (AGAIN) as being a North Coast Section, CIF DISTINGUISHED SCHOLASTIC TEAM. (3.0 GPA or better)

The BVAL Finals were held at Heritage High School on Wednesday March 31st.  Three DV Runners finished in the top 10.  Junior Daniel Gober finished 5th overall and Hunter Phillips finished 2nd.  For the women, Ashley Hernandez finished 10th for the second year in a row.  Each athlete recieved BVAL 1st team honors.  BVAL 2nd team honors went to Mariska Kessler (16th), Hailey Parham (17th), and Tigest Tesfaye (20th).

Join us on STRAVA

Using STRAVA, The DVHS Cross Country team tracks distance runs and communicates with each other.  Stava is a Social Networking App designed for athletes.  Team members can "follow you" and post comments about your run.  It is also good for hiking, swimming, and biking.  The coach will also "Post" content to team members regarding different runs and activities.  Download the App and create an account.  Click on "Explore" and "find a club".  Our club is called DVHS Cross Country.
