Our Spanish 3 students have accomplished something truly special this semester. During Quarter 4, students dedicated their time and creativity to a major writing project focused on writing, publishing, and supporting lending libraries in developing countries.

Each student authored an original piece of writing, including short stories, personal narratives, and long-form poems. Their work was compiled into a class anthology titled VOCES EN RITMO: Una colección de cuentos, narrativas personales y poemas.

The anthology is available for purchase on Amazon. Copies will also be available in our school library for students and staff to enjoy.

In addition to becoming published authors, the class is making a global impact by donating 13 books to lending libraries in developing communities in Nicaragua and Guatemala through the organization From Books to Brilliance.

Publishing a book is no small accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and creativity our Spanish 3 students and their Teacher Dr. Cross demonstrated throughout this project. If you see one of these students around campus, be sure to congratulate them on this amazing achievement!
