Notice of Auction Surplus Assets

Public Notice – Auction of Surplus Assets
On an as-needed, ongoing basis, the Antioch Unified School District will be conducting auctions of surplus assets via public auction, online auction, sealed bid, or other appropriate methods of disposal. These assets have been approved as surplus in accordance with State Laws governing surplus goods.

Upcoming Auction Period: August 29, 2025 – September 19, 2025
The following items will be available for bidding on GovDeals.com/AntiochUSD beginning Friday, August 29, 2025:

  • (1) Pallet Truck

  • (1) Electric Forklift

  • Ovens & Warmers

  • Sandwich Wrapper & Cookie Dough Cutter

  • Milk Coolers & Counters

  • Miscellaneous Nutrition Services Equipment

Items will be available for viewing online starting August 29, 2025.

Vendors

Thank you for your interest in the Antioch Unified School District. The District requires a W-9 form (IRS records) and a New Vendor Application on file for all new vendors. Please submit both documents by emailing purchasing department.

California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA)

Antioch Unified School District is subject to CUPCCAA.

CUPCCAA (informal bidding)

(a)Public projects of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) or less may be performed by the employees of a public agency by force account, by negotiated contract, or by purchase order. (b) Public projects of two hundred-twenty thousand dollars ($220,000) If all bids received are in excess of two hundred-twenty thousand dollars ($220,000), (c) the governing body of the public agency may, by adoption of a resolution by a four-fifths vote, award the contract, at two hundred thirty five thousand dollars ($235,000) or less, to the lowest responsible bidder, if it determines the cost estimate of the public agency was reasonable.
