📘 Staff Development Day #2 – 2025-2026 School Year
We are excited to welcome all staff to our second Staff Development Day of the school year! This will be a day of high-impact professional learning tailored to support our continued growth and commitment to student success. Please note that Beede Auditorium and BDMS Theater does not allow food or drink, so all staff should plan to bring your own coffee and water, etc. in containers that have a seal. We will not be providing drinks or snacks for this specific date.

🔹 Elementary Educators
There are a variety of professional development sessions occurring for elementary educators. Please click HERE for the link for all teachers with the exception of the groups listed below.

Half Day Session Groups for Elementary:

11:00-12:00pm Lunch On Your Own/Travel Time

12:00-3:00pm: Site Specific PD with the exception of DI TK Teachers who will remain at Belshaw for Heggerty in Spanish training.

🔹 Secondary Educators
Secondary staff will work with Cassandra Erkens, a Solution Tree Associate, accomplished author of eight books (with more in progress), and a respected educator and coach. Cassandra’s extensive experience includes roles as a classroom teacher, staff developer, curriculum designer, and faculty member at the university level. She currently serves as a lead architect for The Assessment Collaborative at Solution Tree. Her session will focus on assessment and grading practices aligned with PLC (Professional Learning Communities) principles, supporting our goals of clarity, consistency, and collaboration in secondary instruction.
